Project Update for N. Central Street and W. Jackson Avenue

December 9, 2016 N. Central Street Update – This week, KUB’s contractor Adams and Sons, Inc., continued water main installation work on W. Fifth Avenue, where the eastbound lane remains closed between N. Gay Street and Lamar Street (westbound lanes remain open). Restoration work was completed on N. Central Street between the railroad tracks in the Old City and Magnolia Avenue, which has been reopened to traffic.

Next week, work will continue on W. Fifth Avenue between N. Gay Street and Lamar Street, and on N. Central Street between W. Fifth Avenue and Magnolia Avenue. December 9, 2016 W. Jackson Avenue Update – This week, KUB Underground Construction Crews completed Phase 2 wastewater infrastructure work by installing new wastewater main in the currently established work zone.
