Morgan Construction is scheduled to begin work to rehabilitate the existing
wastewater main and manholes in Sequoyah Park starting next week in the western
edge of the park. The park, all parking areas, and boat ramp will remain open
during this work. Morgan Construction will maintain a fenced area in the middle

the park with City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation and the Kingston Pike
Sequoyah Hills Association. Informational banners will be placed in the park
parking areas to provide park visitors with details about the wastewater
rehabilitation work. Additionally, both KUB and the City of Knoxville will
issue news releases and information on social media about work in the park.
Updates on the progress of work in the park will be posted weekly and as needed
