February 22, 2019 UPDATE – Noelton Drive Water Main
Replacement Project – KUB Underground Construction crews completed
installation and testing of the new water main on Chippewa Circle this week. Crews
will shift the work zone to Dogwood Lane next week. Customer service line

continue in these areas as weather conditions allow.
The above-mentioned

areas. Flaggers, signs, and other necessary traffic control measures will be in
place in association with these closures.
Sequoyah Hills
Wastewater Rehabilitation Phase 1 – Contractor crews
continue closed-circuit TV inspections of wastewater system pipes and manhole
repairs requiring intermittent lane closures as weather allows between 7 a.m.
and 5 p.m. on Arrowhead Trail (between Lyons View Pike and Blows Ferry Road)
through March 1, 2019. Mellen Avenue will serve as an alternate route. Pipe
lining crews finished work in an off-road easement near the intersection of
Blows Ferry Road and Alta Vista Way. See attached map.
Sequoyah Hills
Wastewater Rehabilitation Phase 2 – KUB and its contractor,
Morgan Construction, are scheduled to begin construction activity in the
northern sections of Phase 2 on Monday, March 4. Portions of Phase 2 construction take place in Sequoyah Park and along
Cherokee Boulevard/Sequoyah Greenway later this spring. KUB and the contractor
will coordinate all work in those areas with the City of Knoxville. Sequoyah
Park will remain open for use at all times with construction zones isolated by
barriers. All impacts related to work in those areas will be communicated well
in advance. KUB will also coordinate with the appropriate agencies to avoid
conflicts with the Knoxville Marathon and Dogwood Trails in the area this
spring. Customers
can continue to monitor the progress of work in Phase 2, including information
on active work zones and traffic impacts, via this blog. Additionally,
customers throughout Sequoyah Hills will receive notice about Phase 2 by mail
soon. See the attached Sequoyah Hills construction phases map.

I hired local construction contractors to build house. I am not a technical person and does not know how to keep check their quality of work. I have concerns about roof cladding. What are key points to check basic construction work quality specially cladding work?
