Old Kingston Pike Area Wastewater Project

February 14, 2020 – KUB’s contractor, Hurst Excavating, began saw-cutting asphalt and other pre-construction activities this past week. Excavation work is scheduled to begin as soon as weather conditions allow next week. As a reminder, due to the location of some wastewater pipes and manholes under the roadway, temporary lane and/or road closures may be needed in the immediate area where crews are working for the duration of this project. This project is scheduled for completion by late April 2020. Final overall paving and restoration will take place at the conclusion of the wastewater project.
