Concord Street/Painter Avenue Area Wastewater Project
June 21, 2019 Update – Excavation
associated with wastewater rehabilitation work has been completed at the
intersection of Painter Avenue and Concord Street; however, the road closure
has been extended through June 28 for paving and restoration in
this area. KUB contract crews will maintain a continuous closure of Painter
Avenue at Concord Street, between Safety City Road and Sullins Street, through
late June. There will also be intermittent lane shifts as
needed by work crews on Concord Street only during work hours. Alternate routes
include Jersey Avenue, Sullins Street, and Safety City Road. Local traffic
access will be maintained. Appropriate signage, flaggers, and barricades will
be on site to assist with traffic control. Two-way traffic will be maintained
at all times on Concord Street. Painter Avenue will remain closed to vehicle
traffic through for the duration of construction in this area.
