UPDATE – This past week, crews finished installation of a manhole on
Taliluna Avenue west of the Southgate Road intersection, and work on short
sections of Scenic Drive and Cherokee Trail. Hurst Excavating subcontractor
crews will work in the off-road easement along back property lines between Alta
Vista Way and Valencia Road through May 11. There will be no traffic impacts
for work in this area. Paving and restoration crews are scheduled to work on
the south end of Mellen Drive, and short sections of Scenic Drive, Taliluna
Avenue, Cherokee Boulevard, and Kenesaw Avenue next week. Temporary lane
closures with alternating traffic flow will be used in the immediate work zone
where paving crews are present.
