Jackson Avenue Ramps Utility Relocation Project

W. JACKSON AVENUE September 21, 2018 UPDATE – Contractor Southern Constructors will extend the fenced off-road work zone to include the alleyway in front of the Jackson Terminal Building (east of Gay Street) starting next Monday, September 24. Access to Jackson Terminal will be maintained; however, parking will not be permitted in the alleyway. The fenced off-road work zone on the west side of Gay Street will also remain in place next week. Additionally, there will be intermittent alternating daily lane closures from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. between 312 and 410 W. Jackson Avenue all week as a natural gas pipeline is installed across the roadway. Access to the Jackson Avenue parking lot and area businesses will be maintained at all times.
