Sequoyah Hills Wastewater Project

June 22, 2018 UPDATE – Hurst Excavating began open-cut trench work along Wilani Road this week. Due to extensive excavation, Wilani Road will remain closed continuously to through traffic between Taliluna Avenue and Southgate Road through the end of June. Access will be maintained to driveways on Wilani Road. Subcontractor pipe-bursting crews completed work along Calumet Drive and in the off-road easements between Calumet Drive and Blows Ferry Road. Restoration and paving work will continue on Calumet Drive, Mellen Road (driveway at the south end), and Valencia Road next week. Work will also continue in the off-road easement near Shawnee Lane through next week. Crews will also expand the work zone next week to include the area near the Arrowhead Trail and Blows Ferry Road intersection. Road closures will be necessary in this area, as well, to facilitate access for construction equipment.
