South Knox Natural Gas Project
August 17, 2018 UPDATE – Cleary Construction crews
will continue placement of enclosures around the new main line valves, as well
as restoration work. The righthand turn lane on Chapman Highway has been
re-opened to normal traffic flow, and there are no road closures scheduled for
next week. Gate Station: Blount Excavating crews completed grading work
in preparation for installation of the structural and equipment foundations.
Work began this past week to pour the concrete foundations. Periodic temporary
lane closures may be needed in this area of Tipton Station Road as construction
equipment and vehicles enter and exit the gate station work zone.
