October 26, 2018 UPDATE –
Contractor Southern Constructors and their subcontractors
completed testing and tie-ins on the domestic and fire protection water lines.
Water line connections on a hydrant at Jackson Terminal and an 8-inch line
going to Fire Alley are scheduled for Monday, October 29. Final natural gas
connections have been moved to next week, October 29-31, due to inclement
weather. Wastewater work requiring traffic closures on W. Jackson Avenue is
expected to begin in early November. Information on the scope and duration of
traffic closures will be communicated in advance, as details are finalized.
